Our award-winning blend balances sweet, smoky, and savory notes with just a hint of heat. We started experimenting with spice blends in 1998 in our Clermont backyard, trying to crack the code on perfect BBQ.
Hundreds of batches later, we landed on the formula that would become Yellow Dog Rib Rub โ named after our loyal yellow lab, Buddy, who never missed a single cookout in his 14 years.
After years of friends, family, and competition judges asking us to bottle our secret, we finally said yes. Every pack contains the same home-batch formula โ crafted in small batches to ensure the quality that made us backyard legends.

Apply Generously
Coat all surfaces evenly โ about 1 tbsp per pound. Press gently so it adheres.
