Our Family Christmas Gathering is a celebration of the season, gift swap, and so much wonderful food brought by all.  Everyone enjoys our baby back ribs cooked with Yellow Dog Rib Rub.  It has been our inspiration to start marketing our rub.

The rub is what compliments the cooking process.  We start with lean meaty pork loin ribs. Then generously coat and pat down the rub on the whole rack of ribs.  We line the racks up together in a deep roasting pan, cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil, and back them in the oven at 250 degrees for 4 to 5 hours.  After checking the ribs for tenderness, cooked to the point where they are almost ready to fall of the bone, we take them out and let them rest. This allows us the slice the ribs and get them ready to serve. The secret is to cook them a long time at low temperature.

This is just one way of cooking ribs with our rub.  We look forward to sharing other methods using smokers, crock pots and big green eggs.
